The truth really is out there

Now here’s a "quiz" that fits me just fine!  How Much Is My Blog Worth? found at The Gypsy Librarian.

My blog is worth $0.00.
How much is your blog worth?

Given my distaste for much of consumer society this is a perfect result!  Hehehee $0.00.  Of course, that should be the answer for 99.9% of all blogs.

I’d be a big sell-out if I scored anything over $0.00 on any scale of measurement that employed anything AOL in its computations.  See one of my early posts on AOL/TimeWarner as Corporate Criminal

And I love your writing and most of what you write about Angel, but I think yours is probably due
to your far more southerly location with the onset of fall.  ;->
Maybe if I posted pictures of the colorful leaves….  Naw, I’m proud of my totally worthless blog!

    AOL/TimeWarner as Corporate Criminal

Other than it keeps people and goods moving in our corporate-driven world, why is it that we tolerate companies like AOL/TimeWarner and their proliferation of trash? I am not referring to any specific intellectual property that they issue, although one…

I’m worthless too. I wouldn’t want to be worth what ever they’re selling anyway. So there!

Actually, I will remain curious about the logic of the system they use. When I tried it for fun and giggles about a week ago, I got the zero for a value. I did not give it much thought until I saw someone else pick up on the quiz again, the person I gave credit to this time. That I got a value made me wonder and thus curious. I wonder if you try it again later if you would get a number too. As for mentioning the leaves, it is one of the things I miss from where I used to live up north. Fall became my favorite season and driving around to see the peak of leaves changing colors was an event. Don’t get me wrong, I like being able to wear shorts in October, but there is something special about those leaves.

Anyways, I don’t think you would be a sell-out. Heck, I don’t think most LIS bloggers out there would be. Or teachers for that matter (who hold a special place in my heart). As I said, not that I am selling. . . .

    Best.
