So I got double-memed yesterday—one by web and one by email. Instead of furthering this via email I think I’ll just respond here.
Copy, not forward, this entire e-mail and paste it into a New email. Change all of the answers so that they apply to you. Then, send this to a whole bunch of people you know *INCLUDING* the person who sent it to you. Put your name in the "subject." The theory is that you will learn a lot of little known facts about your friends. It is fun and easy.
1. First name? Mark.
2. Were you named after anyone? My sister and I both have good Biblical names.
3. Do you wish on stars? Yes, but more on the moon.
4. When did you last cry? Not sure, but may’ve been too long now.
5. Do you like your handwriting? No.
6. What is your favorite lunch meat? Quality roast beef.
7. When is your birthday? Feb 20.
8. What is your most embarrassing CD? Embarrassing in what manner? I don’t own any Abba. But I’ll go with most likely to be censored in the presence of others: Bloodhound Gang’s HOORAYforBOOBIES or secondarily, bitch and animal’s eternally hard.
9. If you were another person would you be friends with you? I hope so.
10. Do you have a journal? Sometimes. Less now with the blog.
11. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Yes, but a lot less than I used to.
12. Would you bungee jump? Possibly. Context is everything. Not just to "do it."
13. What is your favorite cereal? Corn Pops, except they are like the vaporware of food. Might as well try to fill up on lettuce, celery or mushrooms.
14. Do you untie your shoes when you take off? Usually.
15. Do you think that you are strong? Not anymore.
16. What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Quality vanilla or chocolate.
17. Shoe Size? 8.5-9
18. Red or pink? Context dear, context?
19. What is your least favorite thing about yourself? That I don’t make my own music.
20. Who do you miss the most? My children.
21. Do you want everyone you send this to send it back? Since I’m not forwarding it, no. But if you pick it up on the web, feel free to trackback or comment here.
22. What color pants and shoes are you wearing right now? Blue and white plaid flannel lounge pants and worn-out Birks.
23. Last thing you ate? English muffin with cream cheese (entire reason for consumption) and strawberries (in a jar unfortunately).
24. What are you listening to right now? Ultimate Anita O’Day on Verve.
25. If you were a crayon what color would you be? Magical flesh. I would be capable of producing every nuance of human skin tone, complete with tattoos as required. And I would only color a few people before I would shift shades, because that is how the world is.
26. Who was the last person you talked to on the phone? My beloved ex.
28. The first thing you notice about the opposite sex? Facial expressions.
29. Do you like the person who sent this to you? Yes. Which, of course, explains nothing.
30. Favorite Drink? Rheingönheimer Weissenbier.
31. Favorite Sport? Women’s collegiate soccer.
32. Hair Color? Brown. I guess. Strands of white.
35. Favorite Food? Tasty and filling. If you get to "play with it" then it’s even better.
36. Last Movie You Watched? Greendale, a film by Neil Young.
37. Favorite Day Of The Year? All Friday the Thirteenths
38. Scary Movies Or Happy Endings? Happy Endings.
39. Summer or winter? Oh, we must have all. There are four here in the midwest my dearest Southern belle.
40. Hugs or Kisses? Hugs for now. Kissing someday.
41. Favorite Dessert? Fresh blueberries and strawberries on vanilla ice cream.
42. Who Is Most Likely To Respond? No idea.

45. What’s On Your Mouse Pad? Quantex, the manufacturer of my previous PC and a Logictech wireless mouse.
46. What Did You Watch Last night on TV? You have got to be kidding. Unless you mean that Neil Young movie. When is a TV no longer a TV and only a monitor? Do I have to rip out the tuner or just not use it?
47. Favorite Smells? Freshly ground coffee beans.
48. Favorite Sounds? Songbirds in Spring.
49. Rolling Stones or Beatles? Beatles. Ooh, but I plead context.
50. What’s the furthest you’ve been from home? How come these seemingly simple questions rarely are for me? I’m going to say Canea, Crete.
There you are Em. Best I can do right now.
I own both your embarassing cds. They are both great!
Mine was Alanis Morrissette. Although I do love the beegees.
Yes, but they are only embarrassing in certain contexts. If the Jehovah’s Witnesses or Mormons came to the door it might be a good thing if one or the other was on and playing loudly.
Which Alanis and why is that embarrassing? I have her first one, although I didn’t get it for years after it came out. And much of the Bee Gees is good, except that disco era stuff.
An initial early thought was The Best of Bread or something like that.
