Great job, Mark! I wonder if some weeks Carnival needs to be what This Week in LibraryBlogland used to be on LISNews? That seemed to stop in late October.

Wow, it is amazing that it has already made it to 25. Seems like yesterday that the Carnival started. You must be right about the Midwinter doldrum, slows people down. For me, the teaching schedule slows me down a little, but can't complain. It's what I do.

And here I thought doing the ocassional meme was just for the fun of it. I am not sure I will think about them the same way after reading that post. Interesting thinking.

I read that post from the Feel-Good Librarian. Probably among the most moving that blogger has posted. When I think of someone who really has a calling, this is one person I think of.

As for the President-Elect, while I see her blogging and meeting with bloggers as a nice start, I am not quite ready to dance in the streets yet. After the damage the last guy did, I am going to need a bit more than some token gestures to believe again. However, I do think she may have a good start. Then again, I may just be a bit less optimistic than most people.

A nice set of posts for this edition. You clearly picked out a good blend. Best, and keep on blogging.
