I found a new theme for WordPress that I really like, Cutline. But its default installation doesn’t have a few things I want, like my new contact form, so I’m holding off on activating it. I’ve tried what it says for making the Contact page show up, but it isn’t working.
It also requires a “trick” or two to make the Archives show up. The trouble is, I have tried everything the author and commentors have suggested and I have only managed to break the Archives for my current theme. *grrr*
And that makes me quite upset! This stuff is *not* supposed to be this hard; especially when there are instructions. Hopefully, between everything else I’ll get my Archives back (soon). I just didn’t need this right now.
If I can get things working, I think I’ll like the change when I can make it. Cutline has autochanging header images for one thing. I already made a few images for it the other night.
Maybe soon I’ll have a new look; in the meantime I just want my damn Archives back!

It is that easy! All you needed to do was rebuild your archives page by turning that option off and then back on in the theme options. Obvious, wasn’t it!

The new design looks great. The different images are wonderful (I love the one with the bee).

Thanks Jennifer for the kind words. Coming from someone with such a lovely, clean looking site they means a lot to me.
