Thanks goes to you, Chris! Also, thanks for the info on the font. I'm good with Georgia, and that is what I thought it was. I've been using it as my default font in Word on my Mac for a while now.

Congrats on getting everything working, Mark!

I'd just like to point out that the default font for text is Georgia, a serif font that was developed especially for the Web by Microsoft in 1997.

There are a couple of places in the stylesheet where you'll need to change references to Georgia in order to use a different font. However, if you'd like to do a quick (albeit somewhat inconclusive) fix, you can simply change the
font
reference for the
body
within
style.css
.

It's the first non-commented line of CSS within the stylesheet, so it should be pretty easy to find.

Enjoy!

Thanks Walt! I still want to find out exactly which font, if any, it is defaulting too and possibly change it.

Again, I haven't done a lot yet. Really, I only got the Archives and Contact page working (with Kurt's help) and I added some pictures. Thus, there may be some more to do, but it'll have to wait for after ASIS&T and school work, of course. That means Fall Break or between the semesters at the earliest.

Nice! (I turned off my forced-typeface setting to see what you've actually done.) Another blogger goes against the Received Wisdom that all web content should be sans serif. And the random photos in a nicely-shaped header work well.
