Thanks, Jenn! But I’m not so sure it makes me “famous.” You did check out the methodology, didn’t you?

And since 3 of our grads got wrote up in GSLIS news based on an earlier list which had an even worse methodology–purportedly objective when it was based on old & limited data–I sent a note to GSLIS pubs but I guess I wasn’t “famous” enough because they never mentioned it.

Don’t misunderstand. I am extremely honored to be chosen and I even like the methodology; no pretensions to being objective. I especially like the reasons Blake gave. They may not be reasons that appeal to many; who knows? But I like them!

Thanks, Chris. Clearly pretty subjective methodology (which I’m OK with because they are claiming nothing else), but I know if I were picking cataloging/metadata blogs I’d pick yours.
